the structures are the product of an innovative process of design, pre-fabrication, packaging, transportation and construction. in the factorythe prefabricated modular components include :
transportthe “flat pack” construction components are packed in specific order into standard shipping containers for transport either inside part of the overall project includes the supply of the containers, which have a special place in remote areas, such as mining communities where they are often adapted for other uses. on site
the couplings are the catalyst, which facilitates the ease of construction. located at floor level and at roof level, the couplings are a means for joining all the primary steel sections, which support the prefabricated components. the couplings are also a mechanism for levelling the structure, bringing it into alignment and into dimensional correctness.
all the connections in the m_house between the steel frames and the prefabricated components are either bolted, or screwed. the method reduces the need for skilled site labour and the type and the extent of tools for fixing. the system also dispenses with wet trades (other than if an optional concrete floor is required), the traditional hammer, saw and nails.
the prefabricated components include pre-wired and pre-plumbed wall panels. electrical cabling within the panels clips together with provision for lighting and power. pre-plumbed waste and water services within the panels extend to points of connection from supply services into the building.
